Vine and Barrel is located at 122A Kentucky St. in the heart of historic downtown Petaluma, California. Some 40+ miles north of San Francisco, Petaluma is the official gateway to wine country. Petaluma is where fine wines begin….and California fine wine began — as the great- great nephew of General Mariano Vallejo and founding board member of the Petaluma GAP AVA, come ask me how and why…..and I’ll tell you a tale of the original wine country.

Vine and Barrel is a 400+ bottle shop with a comfy, little wine bar that serves wonderful Spanish tapas. We hold special tastings, quarterly, with as many as 20 wineries pouring a region or varietal.

We are home to the ½ Zapped Festival in accordance with ZAP, the Zinfandel Advocates and Producers, and hold a festival around every August to celebrate California’s darling varietal, the eternal Zin.

Vine and Barrel is the definitive home to the Petaluma GAP (Grower’s Alliance of Petaluma) and we carry almost every good wine grown in this region.

We, also, have a highly regarded assortment of other pinot noir with over 85 of the finest pinots available at all times.
